Coordinate stores the information needed to provide the service, including account details, profile information, events and organizations you create, commitments you make, messages and poll responses in event groups, notification preferences, and records used to verify participation.
If you choose a feature that uses location, such as map placement or GPS verification, Coordinate processes the location information needed for that feature. Verification evidence may also include text, images, completion codes, or other information submitted for a specific event.
How the information is used
Information is used to operate accounts, display public events and organization pages, manage commitments, deliver group communication, send requested notifications, verify participation, maintain trust and reliability records, prevent abuse, and support the service.
What other people can see
Public profile, event, and organization information may be visible to other visitors. Event-group messages and poll results are limited to authorized organizers and committed participants. Verification evidence is restricted to the people who need it for review and administration.
Email and notifications
Coordinate can send account, event, verification, organization, message, and poll notifications. Signed-in users can control eligible notification categories in their account settings. Essential security or account messages may still be sent when needed to operate the account.
Sessions and security
Coordinate uses session cookies to keep users signed in and applies security controls intended to protect accounts and submitted data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so sensitive information should only be submitted when a feature requires it.
Your choices
You can update profile and notification settings from your account. Requests about account data, privacy, or deletion can be sent through the feedback and support form.
Service providers and retention
Coordinate relies on infrastructure and service providers to host the application, database, and email delivery. Information is retained for as long as needed to operate the service, maintain required event and moderation records, resolve disputes, and meet applicable obligations.
